"We don't want to look like a school" was the brief we received for this project. Keen to not fall into line with all of the usual cliches of school website designs, the client challenged us and our brand partners at Supple Studio to create something that reflected all of the opportunities a child receives during their time at Kent College, but did it in a refreshingly challenging way.
Housed within a bold, highly colourful design system, we wanted to create something that allowed the people who tell the stories of the school best – the pupils – to shine through. To create something truly original, we worked with the beautiful poetry crafted by writer Thomas Sharp to develop an audio rich experience, allowing site visitors to listen to the children while exploring the more detailed content across the site.
